Shipping Delays – Manufacturing Delays
Coupled with short staffing, our shipping and manufacturer partners have seen huge, holiday-like spikes in volume. For context, online sales across all e-commerce industries for May 2020 were more than $82 billion. This is an almost 80% increase over May 2019. Additionally, social distancing protocols that courier companies and shipping centers alike have adopted to help prevent the spread of COVID-19 and keep their employees safe have further impacted the speed of these services.
Simply put, our shipping and manufacturer partners have been dramatically affected by this pandemic.
Delays are inevitable – You will receive your item. We will update you along the way. You will receive multiple emails regarding your order and shipping information. However we will not send you an email every day to update you. We have implemented estimated shipping dates to many of our products. Take notice to these, keep in mind they are estimates and not actual ship dates. Your product may ship before or after your estimated shipping date. Keep in mind even if your product does not have an estimated shipping date associated with it you can still expect a 7-14 day delay for all orders.
Freight Shipping – Large Heavy Products
Due to size and weight, large items must be shipped by truck. Therefore, delivery can take one to three weeks. Here’s a list of steps regarding this kind of shipment.
1) Available delivery methods vary by item; all options will be displayed in cart.
2) Your order gets picked up from the warehouse. We’ll send you a shipping confirmation email to let you know your order is on its way.
3) Your order is shipped to a local delivery agent. A carrier transports your order to a delivery professional in your area.
4) You schedule a delivery appointment. When the local delivery agent has your order, they will contact you to schedule a delivery date and set a time window.
5) Enjoy your new item! Check the conditions and packaging of your order. If you have any concerns, describe the issue on the delivery receipt provided by the driver. As always, feel free to contact us for any additional help!
Curbside (You Unload)
A delivery truck will arrive outside of your home within the scheduled four-hour window. Please note that you will have to unload the item(s) from the truck and move it into your home. You may want to ask a family member or friend for an extra hand. Please Note White Glove Delivery is Available upon request and an additional fee will be charged via the white glove delivery service.
Large Items
Sent via trusted carriers that specialize in handling large items.
Shipping options that list the type of delivery.
Typically take one to three weeks for delivery.
Exceptions
We cannot ship to P.O. boxes or military APOs. Additional fees or shipping restrictions may apply if you live in Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, or the U.S. Virgin Islands.
Small Product – USPS FEDEX UPS
Small Items
Sent via UPS or FedEx.
Shipping time frames once shipped generally 3-5 business days.
Packages less than 150 lbs.
Exceptions
